I’ve been hesitant to join any gym all my life. I always felt I didn’t know anything about the equipment or how to even begin a workout routine. Group classes were scary and I can’t follow any routine for the life of me. But one day I decided to give Windsor Squash and Fitness a try. I knew they existed but didn’t know what they were all about. Let me tell you, this place is a hidden gem. The staff are so friendly and there isn’t that intimidation when you walk in. There’s no loud music blaring like other gyms and you get towel service for free! I am so happy this was my first club I decided to join. I feel like it’s my second home.
Keeping up with my healthy eating and exercise through being accountable for my choices actually helps me to be more motivated. Joe and I add “mini-goals” during my training sessions, like building muscle mass or learning boxing moves. So, in the end, my goal of maintaining my fitness and weight seems less daunting. I’m not the gym type but that all changed. But with Joe’s guidance and machine free workout routines, my living room is now my gym once a week and twice a week at the gym.
