Squash is an easy sport to learn, is a great workout in a reasonable amount of time, is very social and a great stress buster.
At Windsor Squash and Fitness we offer a wide range of squash and social activities for our adult members. Various house leagues are offered for all levels ranging from beginners to experienced players. We run doubles leagues, noon leagues, and early morning leagues. Windsor squash is the only club in Ontario that is also offering UK Racketball leagues.
Throughout the year we run a number of tournaments for our members and out of town players. We also run regular social events including our annual golf tournament.
The Windsor Squash & Fitness Club Junior Squash Program is one that is growing from strength to strength each year attracting players from both Windsor and the surrounding areas. Over ninety-five juniors currently attend the program which runs either after school or on a Saturday morning. Many of our players are now ranked provincially and nationally because of their dedication and commitment to the sport.
Head Squash Pros, Graeme Williams and Dave Morrish as well as their team provide fun and interactive instruction for players aged 5 to 18 years. The program is designed not only to teach the technical skills of the sport but also to introduce health and well being as well as discipline and camaraderie. It is a fun and sociable program for both the juniors and their parents/guardians with many events, activities and tournaments taking place throughout the year.
During school vacation times, the club runs various camps to meet all standards of players.
